First Round
1. Tennessee | Abdul Carter / EDGE / Penn State | The Titans explore trading the first pick but do not like the offers they receive and decide to select Carter and address a major need. The Titans do not feel that there is any QB that gives them the upside the Nittany Lion EDGE provides immediately as a rookie. |
2. Cleveland | Cam Ward / QB / Miami, Fl | Ward, SNS' #1 ranked QB, is a natural leader that teammates rally around. His arm strength and mobility fit the NFL prototype and gives the Browns a promising young signal caller to develop to replace veteran Deshaun Watson. |
3. NY Giants | Shedeur Sanders / QB / Colorado | Sanders' draft stock has taken a hit since the Combine due to supposedly coming off as brash and arrogant during team interviews. Sanders has a very good arm and throws well to all levels of the field. He does not throw with nearly enough anticipation but has a very good upside worth developing. |
4. New England | Armand Membou / OT / Missouri | Possibly the fastest rising prospect since the Combine ended, Membou has prototypical size and wingspan with very light feet and superb balance. Membou addresses the need to improve the protection around franchise QB Drake Maye. |
5. Jacksonville | Kelvin Banks / OT / Texas | The Jags traded away starting OLT Cam Robinson to the Vikings, giving a starting opportunity to Walker Little but clearly, an upgrade is needed. Banks looks like a long term starting OLT with Pro Bowl potential. |
6. Las Vegas | Ashton Jeanty / RB / Boise State | After hiring Pete Carroll and trading for QB Geno Smith, the Raiders need to add some weapons to a moribund attack last season. The Raiders were the worst rushing team in the NFL last year, lacking NFL-caliber RBs in the backfield. Jeanty has rare contact balance and gives the Raiders a true replacement for Josh Jacobs. |
7. NY Jets | Travis Hunter / CB-WR / Colorado | The Jets could draft a young QB here but feel that there is no QB worth selecting at #7 overall. Hunter may be the most dynamic weapon to enter the NFL in decades and will try to play regularly on both sides of the ball. A combination of Sauce Gardner and Hunter lining up at CB will keep AFC East offensive coordinators up at night. |
8. Carolina | Jalon Walker / LB-EDGE / Georgia | Bryce Young's performance at the end of the season allows the Panthers to move forward at the QB position. Carolina needs to improve Young's pass protection but decide to draft a dynamic talent who improves the team speed and gives the team a dangerous pass rusher off the edge. |
9. New Orleans | Mason Graham / IDL / Michigan | The Saints decide to grab the best IDL available in this draft. Graham is ready to go as a 'plug and play' DT and becomes an instant starter and impact player as a rookie. |
10. Chicago | Will Johnson / CB / Michigan | The Bears have heavily invested in improving their offensive line during the off season and decide to select a potential shutdown CB in Michigan's Johnson, who has the length, quickness, and ball skills to start as a rookie. |
11. San Francisco | Jihaad Campbell / LB / Alabama | The Niners could go multiple ways here after jettisoning several players this off season. Campbell has a rare level of athleticism for LB and could become a quality pass rusher off the edge in the NFL - his bend and burst look as good as any EDGE in this draft not named Abdul Carter. Campbell's stock is quickly rising as the draft approaches. |
12. Dallas | Will Campbell / OL / LSU | The Cowboys consider drafting RB Omarion Hampton here but decide they cannot pass on the LSU OT. Campbell could be the first OL drafted but his arm length is a concern for some teams outside at OT. After the retirement of future Hall of Famer Zack Martin in the off season, Campbell looks like a great replacement at guard for Dallas. |
13. Miami | Nick Emmanwori / S / South Carolina | After losing Jevon Holland in free agency, the Dolphins could use a replacement and by drafting Emmanwori, Miami gets a play maker at the back end. Emmanwori has rare size, tremendous foot speed, excellent ball skills, and hits like a truck. |
14. Indianapolis | Derrick Harmon / IDL / Oregon | The Colts' fortunes will ultimately rest on the results of the QB battle between Anthony Richardson and Daniel Jones, but Indy needs to improve their ability to stop the run and pressure the QB from the inside. Harmon is well-rounded and experienced with years of starting in the Big Ten at Oregon and Michigan State. He should start as a rookie. |
15. Atlanta | James Pearce / EDGE / Tennessee | The Falcons have not been able to generate a reliable and consistent pass rush, even after acquiring Matthew Judon last season. Pearce will likely have to convert to off the ball LB on run downs due to size concerns but should be able to contribute right away as a pass rusher as a rookie. |
16. Arizona | Jahdae Barron / CB / Texas | Arizona could go with one of the quality EDGE rushers or IDL available but decide to draft the 2025 Thorpe Award winner. Barron has great ball skills and is athletically gifted enough to match up with both size and quickness outside. |
17. Cincinnati | Mike Green / EDGE / Marshall | After spending a lot of cash on their offense in the off season, the Bengals need to use their draft assets on defense if they hope to win by means other than just having the ball last every week. Green is a power rusher who plays with great leverage and strength. His motor and effort are top notch and he should contribute as a pass rusher as a rookie. |
18. Houston (PROPOSED TRADE w/ Seattle) | Josh Conerly / OT / Oregon | The Texans give up pick #25 & #79 (third round) for the right to move up seven slots in this year's draft. After trading starting OLT Laremy Tunsil to Washington, drafting a young OT makes a lot of cap sense. Conerly has the desired size, length, and movement skills to excel as CJ Stroud's blind side protector. |
19. Tampa Bay | Shemar Stewart / EDGE / Texas A&M | Stewart is the most controversial prospect in this year's draft. He has a body and flashes a playing style similar to Myles Garrett. Unfortunately, although he works out tremendously well, his production is poor and he has never played up to his hype. Stewart could be the steal of the draft - or the reason a GM becomes unemployed in the next year or two. |
20. Denver | Tyler Warren / TE / Penn State | Warren gives the Broncos a weapon in the passing game that they have not had in years. Warren is also a physical blocker who will assist Denver's running attack as well as providing Bo Nix with a reliable receiving option over the middle of the field. |
21. Pittsburgh | Omarion Hampton / RB / North Carolina | After letting Najee Harris leave via free agency, the Steelers are prepared to go with Jaylen Warren as their top RB. But the Steelers love to run the ball and Hampton is a power back with excellent speed and a surprising level of agility for a man his size. Hampton fits the profile of what Pittsburgh wants in their RBs. |
22. LA Chargers | Colston Loveland / TE / Michigan | The Chargers have filled holes at RB, WR, and along the offensive line this off season and jump at the chance at improving their TE depth. Harbaugh gets re-united with his one time Michigan recruit who gives Justin Herbert another weapon over the middle of the field as well as a very competitive and feisty in-line blocker to help out the run game. |
23. Green Bay | Quincy Riley / CB / Louisville | The Packers are moving on from Jaire Alexander and need a young CB to plug into the secondary. Riley lacks great size but possesses long arms and the desired short area quickness to excel in any coverage scheme. |
24. Minnesota | Tyler Booker / IOL / Alabama | Minnesota has set out to improve their abilty to win at the LOS by signing IDL Jonathan Allen and IOL Ryan Kelly in free agency. But there is still work to be done to improve the efficiency of the running game and to improve the protection for the QB. Booker was the most dominate IOL in college football last season with tremendous natural strength and the nasty disposition desired in the OL. Booker had poor combine workout numbers but his game film is consistently excellent. The Vikings trust their eyes. |
25. Seattle (PROPOSED TRADE w/Houston) | Tetairoa McMillan / WR / Arizona | Seattle trades down and are still able to draft DK Metcalf's replacement in the similarly large and athletically gifted McMillan. In this scenario, the Seahawks starting WR corps this fall includes Cooper Kupp, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and McMillan - a pretty formidable starting trio. |
26. LA Rams | Walter Nolen / IDL / Ole Miss | Nolen has drawn comparisons to future Hall of Famer Aaron Donald and it seems appropriate for Nolen to become a Ram. Nolen has a very quick first step, reminiscent of Donald, and he finally started to tap his immense potential last year in Oxford. |
27. Baltimore | Luther Burden / WR / Missouri | Although the Ravens need to improve their secondary, they rarely let a prospect slide past them that they think upgrades their roster. Burden entered the 2024 season as the top ranked WR in college football but struggled with nagging injuries and inconsistent play. But Burden is a beast with the ball in his hands and he gets to play with Lamar Jackson - a scary proposition for the AFC North. |
28. Detroit | Nic Scourton / EDGE / Texas A&M | Detroit had difficulty generating a pass rush last year after Aidan Hutchinson was lost for the season and the defense was devastated by injuries. Scourton is a well-rounded prospect who establishes a strong edge in the run game and has a developed arsenal of pass rush moves to shed blocks. |
29. Las Vegas (PROPOSED TRADE w/Washington) | Jaxson Dart / QB / Ole Miss | The Raiders trade their second round pick (#37) and a 2026 third round pick to the Commanders for the right to draft the fast-rising Ole Miss QB. Dart is an intriguing prospect with all the physical skills to excel in the NFL and he will not face any immediate need to start behind recently acquired Geno Smith. But a word of caution, Dart has premium skills but has yet to lead a team to any sustained success and he seems to wilt in the face of pressure far too often. |
30. Buffalo | Maxwell Hairston / CB / Kentucky | The Bills select Hairston, the quickly ascending CB who blew away the combine by displaying elite speed (4.28 40) and jumping ability (39.5" vertical jump). Hairston had difficulty staying healthy last season but demonstrated the ball skills in 2023 to project as a future NFL starter. |
31. Kansas City | Shavon Revel / CB / East Carolina | Revel missed almost the entire 2024 season after tearing his ACL during practice in early October. Revel is still not able to work out but he is reportedly progressing well and should be ready to contribute this coming season. Revel impressed enough in his limited reps last season to gain an invitation to the Senior Bowl and Combine. What Revel offers is prototypical size and length for lining up at outside CB and looks like a future NFL starter. |
32. Philadelphia | Mykel Williams / EDGE / Georgia | In a theme that seems to run through most NFL Drafts in recent years, the Eagles find a former Georgia defensive prospect to add to their roster. Williams could very likely be drafted in the top half of the first round or fall out of the first round due to the depth of top end EDGE prospects available this April. This would be an absolute steal to close out the first round. |
