(Travis Hunter / ATH / Colorado)
1. Jacksonville | Kelvin Banks / OT / Texas | Trevor Lawrence is running scared behind a very poor pass blocking line; Banks is experienced, athletic, and a proven blindside protector. |
2. Tennessee | Quinn Ewers / QB / Texas | Will Levis is not working out as the starter in Nashville; Ewers is athletic, strong-armed, and is an ascending talent. |
3. New England | Will Campbell / OT / LSU | The Patriots have their QB and now they need to protect him; Campbell looks the part of a perennial Pro Bowl OLT. |
4. Cincinnati | Travis Hunter / ATH / Colorado | Bengals select one of the most talented athletes to enter the NFL in decades. Is Hunter a CB or WR? That is the question because he projects as being elite at either of these positions - but unlikely both. |
5. Cleveland | Will Johnson / CB / Michigan | Cleveland already has a stud at CB in Denzel Ward. Adding Johnson is just a scary proposition for the rest of the NFL. |
6. Carolina | Mason Graham / IDL / Michigan | Carolina needs to figure out if Young is the answer at QB but adding Graham is a no-brainer as a complete, difference-making interior force. |
7. LA Rams | Carson Beck / QB / Georgia | Stafford is not getting any younger and drafting the fellow Georgia Bulldog to be developed under the veteran makes sense. |
8. Arizona | Tacario Davis / CB / Arizona | Davis has a rare combination of length and athleticism that could make him an elite CB. |
9. NY Giants | Shedeur Sanders / QB / Colorado | Daniel Jones is not the long-term answer in NYC; Sanders has the swag and game to thrive under the spotlight of New York. |
10. Miami | Jalen Milroe / QB / Alabama | The Dolphins need to move on from Tua, whose career may be over due to concussions; Milroe gives the Dolphins a big, physical QB to build around. |
11. Indianapolis | Benjamin Morrison / CB / Notre Dame | Indy needs to address holes in the secondary; Morrison has elite cover and ball skills. |
12. LA Chargers | Mykel Williams / EDGE / Georgia | Joey Bosa is getting nicked up on a regular basis; Williams upside is immense even if his game is not quite up to par. |
13. New Orleans | Colston Loveland / TE / Michigan | Loveland has a well-developed game and is ready to contribute as a receiver and as an in-line blocker as a rookie. |
14. Dallas | Omarion Hampton / RB / North Carolina | Dallas has been a disappointment so far in 2024 and the lack of a running game is a major factor in their struggles; Hampton has size and speed and is worthy of a first round selection. |
15. Chicago | Aireontae Ersery / OT / Minnesota | Caleb Williams is running scared behind a porous offensive line; Ersery is raw but has rare athleticism and tremendous potential |
16. Green Bay | Abdul Carter / EDGE / Penn State | Carter is playing full-time EDGE for the first time and he has the bend and burst to flourish at the NFL level. |
17. Baltimore | Wyatt Milium / OT / West Virginia | Ronnie Stanley has trouble staying healthy and his better days are behind him; Milium has four years of starting experience and has steadily improved throughout his career in Morgantown. |
18. San Francisco | Landon Jackson / EDGE / Arkansas | The Niners could use some fortification on the defensive line; Jackson has excellent size and fits what the Niners look for in their defensive linemen. |
19. Philadelphia | Harold Perkins / LB-EDGE / LSU | Perkins best attribute is rushing the passer but he does not possess the frame or size to line up as an every down DE but he has elite pass rushing skills that are difficult to replicate. |
20. NY Jets | Tetairoa McMillan / WR / Arizona | McMillan has great size (6'5") and length combined with the agility rarely seen in someone so long limbed. He would give the Jets a potential dynamic duo in Garrett Wilson and McMillan. |
21. Las Vegas | Jaxson Dart / QB / Ole Miss | Vegas is clearly losing confidence in Gardner Minshew and a new QB is needed; Dart is a great athlete with all the tools who has yet to elevate his team to the next level. If Dart can prove to be clutch, he will likely be a Top 15 pick. |
22. Denver | Luther Burden / WR / Missouri | The Broncos offense is basic and boring - a game breaker is desperately needed at WR; Burden is a beast with the ball and can run past, or over, defensive backs. He is a big play waiting to happen. |
23. Atlanta | Ashton Gillotte / EDGE / Louisville | Matthew Judon has made a huge difference for the Falcons defense but he needs assistance; Gillotte has the desired size with an intriguing combination of power and burst to serve as a well-rounded DE in the NFL. |
24. Detroit | Kyren Lacy / WR / LSU | Detroit has a ball control offense with good route running receivers who, aside from TEs Sam LaPorta and Brock Wright, lack size; Lacy is big and fast and gives the Lions size at outside WR. |
25. Washington | Donovan Jackson / IOL / Ohio State | Jayden Daniels has been a sensation completing 82% of his passes so far this year but his protection needs an upgrade; Jackson is a well-rounded, NFL-ready guard with Pro Bowl potential. |
26. Buffalo | Jay Higgins / LB / Iowa | The Bills' LB corps has been devastated by injuries; Higgins has NFL size, instincts, and is a tackling machine. |
27. Pittsburgh | Tre Harris / WR / Ole Miss | Pittsburgh is winning because of elite defense and great special teams play but the offense needs another weapon; Harris has good size, speed, and hands. He gives the Steelers a big WR to line up opposite George Pickens. |
28. Tampa Bay | Cobee Bryant / CB / Kansas | The Buccaneers traded Carlton Davis to Detroit and need a young CB to develop; Bryant is a ball hawk who needs to improve his coverage technique but has the confidence to thrive on an island in coverage. |
29. Houston | Deone Walker / IDL / Kentucky | Walker is huge with a gigantic wingspan. He has the power to close down inside run lanes and surprising quickness and agility to pressure the QB on games and stunts in the passing game. |
30. Seattle | Malaki Starks / S / Georgia | Seattle has perhaps the best set of CBs in the NFL but they could use someone with size to match-up with TEs in coverage; Starks is a well-rounded safety with good coverage ability. |
31. Minnesota | Billy Bowman / S / Oklahoma | Harrison Smith is winding down a Hall of Fame career and a successor is neeed; Bowman combines a big hitter who supports aggressively against the run but also has great ball skills to be a perennial Pro Bowl player. |
32. Kansas City | Jonah Savaiinea / OT / Arizona | The Chiefs have been trying to get younger across the offensive line over the last few seasons and continuing the effort makes sense; Savaiinea is big, strong, and nasty. He looks like a long term starter at ORT or OG. |
(Will Johnson / CB / Michigan)
