1. Tennessee | Cam Ward / QB / Miami, Fl | The Titans have many needs and the fact that there are no "sure things" at QB only muddies the water. The Titans consider drafting Abdul Carter or Travis Hunter here but feel that the void at QB has to be addressed. Tennessee selects Ward due to his leadership and clutch performances he turned in while leading the Hurricanes in 2024. |
2. Cleveland | Shedeur Sanders / QB / Colorado | Deshaun Watson re-tore his Achilles tendon and will likely miss the 2025 season rehabbing. The Browns already realize that Watson is not the solution at QB and having another year of dead cap space does not matter as much as getting a clean slate and starting fresh. The question regarding Sanders is whether or not he wants to play in Cleveland (he has stated a preference to play for the Giants or Raiders) and the last thing the Browns want is another headache at QB. The Sanders drama is likely to be the major fulcrum in which the draft story play outs. |
3. New York Giants | Travis Hunter / WR-CB / NY Giants | The most freakish athlete to enter the draft in many years, Hunter is going to try to play both WR and CB in the NFL and may just be able to pull it off. Hunter addresses a need in the Giants' secondary and adds a dynamic weapon to lineup opposite Malik Nabers, a truly frightening concept to NFL defensive coordinators. |
4. New England | Abdul Carter / EDGE / Penn State | The Patriots need to protect franchise QB Drake Maye better but the defense's decline in effectiveness is a bigger concern. Carter, the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, is the top rated pass rusher available in the 2025 NFL Draft and gives the Patriots the EDGE they have missed since Matthew Judon was traded to Atlanta last summer. |
5. Jacksonville | Kelvin Banks / OT / Texas | The Jags were a train wreck in 2024 and Doug Pedersen and the coaching staff were let go as a result. After trading starting OLT Cam Robinson to the Vikings, the Jaguars need to upgrade Trevor Lawrence's blindside protection and Banks has Pro Bowl upside. |
6. Las Vegas | Ashton Jeanty / RB / Boise State | The Raiders' rushing attack was dismal and although issues on the offensive line need to be addressed, the lack of a true bellcow back was evident all year long. Jeanty is one of the best college RBs of the last decade and immediately upgrades Vegas' offensive attack. |
7. NY Jets | Will Campbell / OT / LSU | The Aaron Rodgers experiment was a disaster and the Jets are left without a franchise QB going forward. Worse yet, the Jets picking at #7 are unlikely to find a QB to draft. Last April, the Jets selected Olu Fashanu to man their OLT spot and decide to secure the right-side of the OL with the drafting of Campbell, who has All-Pro potential. |
8. Carolina | Mykel Williams / EDGE / Georgia | No longer concerned about the QB position with the development of Bryce Young, the Panthers need to improve the pass protection but feel that the OL available here are not worth the #8 pick. Williams has battled injuries and inconsistencies but he has a rare combination of size, length, and athleticism that position coaches covet. Williams should be a better pro than college player. |
9. New Orleans | Will Johnson / CB / Michigan | The Saints are in full rebuild mode now and need to refurbish a once dominate defense with no QB worth drafting at #9. Johnson is the best pure CB in this draft and gives the Saints a potential shutdown corner to replace the traded Marshon Lattimore. |
10. Chicago | Aireontae Ersery / OT / Minnesota | Chicago needs to improve their pass protection as Caleb Williams was the most sacked and pressured QB in the league in 2024. Unfortunately, the top two OTs available were already selected and the other OTs available all need development. Ersery is a freakish athlete with tremendous potential but does not seem ready to contribute immediately as a rookie. |
11. San Francisco | Mason Graham / IDL / Michigan | The Niners season was derailed by injuries at every position group on the team in 2024, but the injuries were especially noticeable along the defensive line where the unit's performance fell off this past season. Graham is perhaps the safest player that can be selected at the top of the draft with no major deficiencies in his game. He becomes an immediate starter the day he signs his rookie contract. |
12. Dallas | Nic Sourton / EDGE / Texas A&M | Dallas went from a playoff team to an also ran in 2024 due to a variety of reasons but none more so than the decline in the effectiveness of the defense. The Cowboys could select a CB like Quincy Riley here or S Malaki Starks but decide to invest in another pass rusher. Scourton is a well-rounded player who spends a lot of time in the opponent's backfield. He gives the Cowboys a dangerous EDGE to pair with Micah Parsons. |
13. Miami | Malaki Starks / S / Georgia | Miami enters the offseason stuck in a kind of purgatory where they do not seem to have any real needs but the team seems to be descending in the weak AFC East. Starks gives the Dolphins a versatile player who can be used to neutralize TEs such as Dalton Kincaid and Hunter Henry in division match-ups next season. |
14. Indianapolis | Tetairoa McMillan / WR / Arizona | The Colts consider drafting CB Quincy Riley here but are stunned that no WR had yet been drafted. McMillan is a big, strong, physical, and surprisingly quick WR who is drawing comparisons to the Bucs' Mike Evans. He gives Anthony Richardson a dangerous weapon to complement Michael Pittman on the outside in Indy. |
15. Atlanta | Jalon Walker / LB-EDGE / Georgia | The Falcons added Matthew Judon last season and although he noticeably improved Atlanta's pressure rate on the QB, the Falcons still had trouble getting the sack. Walker is an ascending talent that was used by the Georgia coaching staff as a mismatch piece. Walker will play off the ball LB on run downs and then rush the passer on third down. |
16. Arizona | Walter Nolen / IDL / Ole Miss | The Cards have spent the last couple of offseasons working to improve the offense and the results were starting to show by the end of the season. Nolen gives Arizona an ascending interior player with a special burst to terrify QB's in the NFC West. |
17. Cincinnati | Deone Walker / IDL / Kentucky | The Bengals never recovered from the free agent defection of DJ Reader (Lions) and the defense's inability to stop their opponents wasted great seasons by Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase. Walker is a similar player to Reader with the size, girth, and strength to shut down inside run lanes. |
18. Seattle | Jalen Milroe / QB / Alabama | The Seahawks would like to draft an EDGE but feel the value is not there at pick #18. Geno Smith has been a pleasant surprise as the starter in Seattle and it would be a good time to develop his successor. Milroe is big and fast with an excellent arm but still needs work on his technique and footwork. Developing for a year or two behind Smith would aid his long term potential. |
19. Tampa Bay | Quincy Riley / CB / Louisville | The Buccaneers missed Carlton Davis after trading him to Detroit and drafting Riley gives them a ball hawk with the skills to be a shutdown CB on the perimeter. |
20. Denver | Tyler Warren / TE / Penn State | The Broncos became a playoff team behind Bo Nix and an overachieving defense that proved that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. Although the Broncos consider drafting one of the talented safeties available (Billy Bowman or Xavier Watts), Denver decides to select the versatile and talented Mackey Award winning TE out of Penn State. |
21. Pittsburgh | Derrick Harmon / IDL / Oregon | Harmon is a fast-rising senior with a great combination of size, strength, and athleticism. Harmon can line up anywhere on the defensive line and will help occupy blockers up front and allow TJ Watt and Alex Highsmith to flourish off the edge. |
22. LA Chargers | Luther Burden / WR / Missouri | The Chargers inability to move the ball through the air was evident during the playoff loss to the Texans where the WRs (outside of Ladd McConkey) could not seem to get open, and when they did, could not seem to catch the ball. Burden is a powerful runner after the catch who would give Justin Herbert another weapon to use on the outside. |
23. Green Bay | Daylen Everette / CB / Georgia | Jaire Alexander's season-ending injury significantly reduced the effectiveness of the Packers' pass defense. Green Bay's lack of a consistent pass rush was also an issue but the lack of quality coverage options could be fatal when you play Justin Jefferson and Amon-Ra St. Brown twice each season. Everette gives the Packers a CB who has steadily improved and became the most reliable coverage option on a loaded Bulldog defense last season. |
24. Minnesota | Billy Bowman / S / Oklahoma | Defensive Coordinator Brian Flores was a major reason why Minnesota won 14 games last season, utilizing an aggressive defensive approach that requires play makers in the secondary to execute proficiently. Bowman has excellent ball skills and a flair for the dramatic play. |
25. LA Rams | Quinn Ewers / QB / Texas | General Manager Les Snead has done a brilliant job acquiring talent using the draft despite having very few early round picks. The Rams have a loaded young defense, a pair of quality WRs, and a stud RB. But Matthew Stafford is nearing the end of his career and the Rams need to develop a successor. Ewers has very good skills, including a strong arm and good athleticism, but cannot seem to stay healthy. But being developed by Sean McVay gives Ewers a chance to become a dependable NFL starter. |
26. Houston | Emeka Egbuka / WR / Ohio State | The Texans have had difficulty keeping healthy WRs on the field with Nico Collins missing significant time this year and Tank Dell having his second consecutive season cut short by injury. Egbuka was overshadowed by freshman phenom Jeremiah Smith but Egbuka is a smooth and reliable WR in the mold of fellow Buckeye Chris Olave (Saints) and looks like an ideal #2 WR to complement Collins. |
27. Washington | Jonah Saviinaea / OT / Arizona | The Commanders are a team on the rise behind QB Jayden Daniels and an improving and aggressive defense. But Washington has difficulty running the ball consistently between the tackles and need to develop a more balanced offensive attack. Saviinea played ORT for the Wildcats and could make an ideal road grader at guard in the NFL. |
28. Baltimore | Jordan Burch / DL / Oregon | It does not seem to matter where the Ravens pick in any NFL Draft, they always seem to find players who fit the system and the culture and seemingly make an easy transition to the NFL. Burch has the size and athleticism to line up as an EDGE, a 5T, or as a gap penetrating DT. In other words, Burch is made to be a Raven. |
29. Buffalo | Malachi Moore / S / Alabama | The Bills are loaded with impact players at each level of their defense but could use some additional play makers in the secondary. Moore has experience in the slot and as a traditional safety and gives the Bills a prospect that can be deployed wherever needed by the coaching staff. |
30. Philadelphia | Colston Loveland / TE / Michigan | The Eagles could go a number of ways here without any glaring weaknesses or needs. Loveland was the Wolverines' only reliable receiving option and he faced a lot of double coverage as a result. Loveland is well-rounded and ready to contribute as a rookie. |
31. Detroit | Landon Jackson / EDGE / Arkansas | The Lions are making a run at the Super Bowl despite placing numerous players on IR, including EDGE Aidan Hutchinson and IDL Alim McNeil, and the depth has been tapped out. Jackson is a similar player to Hutchinson with the size and length to play EDGE on running downs and enough size and quickness to rush the passer from the DT position. |
32. Kansas City | Benjamin Morrison / CB / Notre Dame | The Chiefs have issues with the consistency of the performance of the offensive line but since the linemen are young and still developing, patience is required. Morrison has missed more than half the season with a hip injury but looked like a Top 15 pick before his injury. Morrison may need some time to recover and KC is the perfect situation for the Fighting Irish CB to start his career. |
