SNS releases our initial 2024 NFL Draft prospect Top 100 rankings, taking a deep dive into prospects earning second and third-round draft grades in April. It should be noted that these rankings are separate from the positional rankings previously released in the SNS Weekly Scouting Reports since scouting is a continual process throughout the fall, winter, and spring and scouting reports are regularly updated throughout the process. Furthermore, players have yet to declare their draft intentions, postseason all-star bowl invitations have yet to be issued or accepted, and the NFL Scouting Combine have not identified which prospects to invite to Indianapolis (February 26 – March 4). So, with qualifications aside, let’s take look at prospects ranked #51-75!
51. Laiatu Latu | EDGE | UCLA |
52. Blake Corum | RB | Michigan |
53. Cameron Ward | QB | Washington State |
54. Xavier Truss | IOL | Georgia |
55. Kenny Logan | S | Kansas |
56. Marist Liufau | LB | Notre Dame |
57. Jalen McMillan | WR | Washington |
58. Justin Walley | CB | Minnesota |
59. Nazir Stackhouse | IDL | Georgia |
60. Denzel Burke | CB | Ohio State |
61. Troy Fautanu | OT | Washington |
62. Bo Nix | QB | Oregon |

75. Graham Barton | OT | Duke |
POSITIONAL BREAKDOWN –
QB (3) – Ward (#53), Nix (#62), & Leonard (#74). Ward transferred from FCS Incarnate Word and his playing style is similar to Jalen Hurts. Nix went from an underachiever at Auburn to a legit Heisman finalist candidate at Oregon. Leonard was having a dynamic year at Duke prior to injury but still looks like a potential NFL starter.
RB (2) – Corum (#52) & Neal (#68). Corum looked like a Heisman finalist in ’22 prior to a season-ending knee injury. He still isn’t quite up to speed yet but he is starting to look like his old self. Neal is the best RB prospect in Lawrence since Gale Sayers nearly 60 years ago.
WR (1) – McMillan (#57). McMillan has missed significant time this year with injuries but his speed and size combination fits the profile of an NFL outside WR.
TE (1) – Spann-Ford (#69). Spann-Ford offers great size, speed, blocking ability, and developing receiving skills to be groomed as an eventual starter.
OT (3) – Fautanu (#61), Rouse (#71), & Barton (#75). All three OTs look like potential starting OLTs in the NFL.
IOL (1) – Truss (#54). Truss has the desired size and athleticism to be a long-term NFL starting OG with the size and length to kick out to ORT in a pinch.
EDGE (2) – Latu (#51) & Elliss (#63). Latu is an experienced and highly productive pass rusher. Elliss, son of former Detroit Lion All-Pro Luther, has a high motor and a developing pass rush skill set.
IDL (2) – Stackhouse (#59) & Sweat (#65). Stackhouse combines power and quickness as an inside pass rusher. Sweat is huge and a nearly unmovable force in the middle of the line.
LB (4) – Liufau (#56), Asante (#64), Beasley (#67), & Carter (#72). Liufau and Asante can rush the passer and drop into coverage. Beasley and Carter are productive run defenders with enough athleticism to pick up TEs in coverage.
CB (3) – Walley (#58), Burke (#60), Hallman (#70). Three Big Ten CBs make this list. Walley is very experienced and was a Freshman All-American. Burke is an extremely experienced #1 CB in Columbus. Hallman has excellent ball skills and a developing ability as a shutdown CB.
S (3) – Logan (#55), Bishop (#66), Bullard (#73). Logan is the leader of a surprisingly effective KU defense. Bishop looks like a potential Pro Bowl safety. Bullard is the next in line of quality NFL DBs developed by the Bulldogs.
Next week, SNS releases the 2024 NFL Draft Top 100 Rankings – Prospects Ranked #26 – 50!
